Doug Riley - CEO / President

Doug has been with Thos. Somerville Co. for over 33 years, as he began his career here as temporary warehouse help during the summer of 1985.A year later, Doug entered into a sales role at our Fairfax branch. After a couple years in a sales position, he accepted an opportunity to be a branch manager for our York and subsequently the Lancaster branch. He then went on to be the Pennsylvania General Manager, our V.P of Sales - Northern Division and currently, President/CEO. Doug can often be seen challenging his employees at our jump rope contests, talking about all but one of the local sports teams, especially both of his alma maters basketball teams, Maryland and George Mason, while encouraging everyone to be their best every day.

Michael Leisher - Chief Financial Officer

Prior to joining Thos. Somerville Co., Michael has over 25 years experience in overseeing various companies financial operations; Accounting, Human Resources, Recruiting, and Management Information Systems. As a seasoned financial and operations executive, he has held a variety of executive level positions, primarily in professional service industries, and also construction, home building, retail and development. When Michael isn’t at Thos. Somerville Co., you can often find him cheering on his daughter at her soccer games, golfing or cheering on the Baltimore Ravens.

Joe Pioli - Chief Operating Officer

Hired as an Outside Salesperson in 1994, Joe has been with Thos. Somerville Co. for 25 years. He has excelled in many positions within the company, including receiving several Branch of the Year Awards during his tenure as Branch Manager of our Forestville location. In 2015, Joe became V.P. of Sales / Plumbing, and during football season, you can find him cheering on his team, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Ray Mikell - Executive VP of Sales

As Executive VP of Sales, you can often catch Ray teaching his team about product lines, brands and the in's and out's of hunting. Before he was part of leadership, Ray started his career at Thos. Somerville Co., in 1994 as Outside Sales. From there he worked his way to Branch Manager, HVAC Sales and Product Manager and then V.P. Sales, HVAC / Hydronics. Throughout his career at Thos. Somerville Co., he has earned many achievements such as Salesman of the Year, Branch of the Year and Region of the Year.

In 1999, Aaron was hired into Thos. Somerville Co.’s Finance Department. Since then he has worked in numerous areas to include, shipping, warehouse, inside sales, Operations Manager, Training Coordinator, Director of Operations and eBusiness to V.P. of Technology. Throughout his career, Aaron has furthered Thos. Somerville Co.’s e-Commerce and technology advancements. When Aaron isn’t helping us take our technology to the next level, you can count on him to be on a camping/fishing expedition or at a Washington Nationals game.
